"Goodbye" "Hello"
Last week, Miss Ava announced that we were having a "Backwards" day. She put on her hoody backwards and was trying to walk around backwards everywhere. It was funny and led to many an interesting mishap when she would pull the hood of her hoody up over her face.
Yesterday, she announced that it was "Opposite Day". I was instructed to say the opposite of what we normally say. So, when they came inside from playing I heard,
"Goodbye Mom!"
And I was supposed to respond,
"Goodbye!"
Then when they left to go outside again we said,
"Hello!"
Oh boy. It didn't take long for my brain to hurt.
This was Phia's outfit for opposite day. I think she was going for the opposite of matching:-)
Hello!
